Commodore 64

Once upon a time, a long time ago, back in the days when telephones had dials, the coolest thing to have on your desk was a Commodore 64. This was a kind of computer that had mega power compared with Commodore's previous attempts at home computers, the PET and VIC 20. Sales of the Commodore 64 took off after its release in 1982, leading to the decline and eventual ruin of the VIC 20. Some people think this was because of its ample 64 KB of RAM (compared with the VIC 20's 5 KB), but I think it is because of its clever marketing and snappy advertising jingle. Watch and listen:
Did you notice how the teacher was relegated to the sidelines, while the computer takes her place at the front of the room. Science fact or science fiction? You be the judge.
