The Sweeney (board game)

Based on the classic Thames TV crime series starring John Thaw and Dennis Waterman produced by Omnia in 1975.
The game is for up to 4 players, which play as two teams: one team is the Sweeney and the other is the villains. The idea is for each team to build up it's score by raiding targets which the other team will try to defend.
Each time a target is successfully raided, the raiding team score points. But they lose points if the other team recaptures that target. (So you win some and lose some). The first team to score 14 points wins the game.
The Sweeney is no simple game of chance. Nor is it for the fainthearted. You need cunning,craft and guts.
So don't expect favours and don't give any. Get them before they get you. To win, you and your partner must work closely together. So figure out your tactics and play them close to your chest.
